Units 6-7 Project Proposal

Thirteen students will present Unit 6 and Unit 7 lessons to my 8th grade U.S. History classes. On the day of their lesson, they will present in each of my class periods (Periods 2,3,5,7, and 8). This is yet another attempt to collaborate across class periods and it is an interesting opportunity that will hone presentation skills. Many of these students have been honored by their peers with a "Best Presentation" award in previous Unit Projects.

Directions:
1. I have provided your preliminary topic.
2. Three learning objectives are listed at the beginning of each section, but you may have additional objectives for your presentation.
3. You would use the "Lesson Plan Rubric" for your visual aid (see website).
